This exists.
The themes of consumption, community, and access have been living rent free in my head for years. I wasn’t sure how to productively weave together all the feelings I had on each. I hope you feel like this is it. It’s The Idiosyncratic Program. Idiosyncrasies and healing go hand in hand. This is an ever-growing system of videos to help organize the process of getting unburdened from chronic illness.
The community shapes which videos get made/added on top of what’s already there. There is a systematic process, with time-tested practices and tools, but there is also room for discovery and growth.
The beauty of having a process, rather than a single tool, is that you can fit other practices or tools into it.
You can strip down to the basics and just use what’s there, or you can fit some of your favorite things into an organized system so that they actually take proper effect.
This is based on both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and modern medicine. TCM usually lending a simplified understanding of what modern medicine has finally deemed good for you.
It’s easy to find the general jist of a topic today. This is great. Google AI can give you facts, but not human experience. This is going to be the differentiator moving forward. The aim with this program isn’t just to regurgitate facts, but to give the why and how so you understand why you’re doing what you’re doing. The aim is also to learn from each other and trust when something feels resonate.
It’s easy to dismiss what we feel because we “don’t know as much as” insert name. Let’s connect back to our center and trust that we know what’s best for us.
Chronic health conditions aren’t “the body attacking itself”. They are the body trying to rediscover what is self and what isn’t. Help it to be more targeted in its journey to optimal functioning.
This coming back to center to “rediscover” our true self can be accomplished through excavating hidden pathogens, using breathing practices to play with gases such as nitric oxide, optimizing glymphatic and lymphatic drainage, balancing the various microbiomes in the body, regulating the circadian rhythm, plus a lot lot more.
